Disneyland

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Last Friday I spent my day and night at Disneyland in California with my sister. Growing up in Florida, and visiting Disney World, and its many theme parks was neat to see how they do theme parks in Cali.

Cassie on the "Toy Story" ride ... my favorite!

The Buzz Lightyear ride
I will say Florida still does parks best, but it was fun to go on new rides and see the differences in the parks. One cool thing that Disneyland does is the “World of Color”  a light and water show at night. It was very cool to see all the different Disney movies projected on water mid air.

Here are a some photos of the "World of Color" show!

The Little Mermaid

So many colors!

Mickey ears !

The end of the show.
I only had one day to visit both parks so hope to make it back some time so I can see the rest of the attractions I missed.

I hope you Enjoyed this post.

A Blog about blogging…

Friday, March 4, 2011

So I would like to start off by apologizing to all my LHM blog followers for not keeping this blog as up to date as I would like to. I am a full-time graduate student, photojournalist, freelancer, oh and did I mention I have two internships ugh…

Anyways enough wining from me! This blog post is about getting started again keeping my blog current and keeping you all in the loop. I do so much traveling, and have opportunities to shoot some great events at the University of Florida I will do my best to keep you informed and share my images with you.

I am always on the go, but that’s what makes life fun. Right now as I right this post I am on a plane headed to LAX to visit my sister. Did you know Delta Airlines charges you to watch movies on their flights now… LAME! They also charge over $12.00 to have Internet access in-flight. Hence, why this will be posted after I land and get to a destination where I do not have to pay for my wireless Internet. I mean come on now aren’t we at a place where companies should ALL offer free Wiifi to that consumers?

I think airlines need to start doing more for their customers, all they do is charge you for EVERYTHING, and offer you a seat (an uncomfortable one at that) on their old dirty plane. Most of the time I fly it is on international flights and they have cut back, but still feed you and let you watch movies for free.

Now domestic flights in America rip you off charging you to check your bags, and even charge to watch movies or TV when on a flight that is 5 hours long! I had to rin to catch my flight and did not have time to stop and get dinner… now I have two choices
  • Die of hunger (a slow death might I mention)
  • Pay and arm and a leg to get some dinner

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy my newfound energy to start blogging again, and I will try my best to keep you entertained.

Me on the flight!

Blog to you soon!

Always !LHM!
